- Simply place starter on top of your charcoal grate, inside your bbq
- Place some newspaper or firelighters in the bottom
- Fill the starter with charcoal
- Light the paper or firelighters through the holes in the side of the starter
- Leave until the fuel is ready for cooking (10 -15 minutes)
- Then gently pour the charcoal on to the charcoal grate
